Dr. Xueqin Ding, MD, PhD, FASA, is Professor and the Vice Chair of Anesthesiology at MetroHealth Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive clinical expertise in thoracic anesthesia, trauma anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, major vascular surgery anesthesia, and perioperative pain management.

Dr. Ding is an accomplished academic physician who has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and served as an editor for some anesthesiology journals. She is widely recognized for her contributions to perioperative care, acute pain management, and anesthesiology education.

She is also an active leader in national and international professional organizations. Dr. Ding currently serves as Chair of the Global Scholars Award Section of the International Anesthesia Research Society and Co-Chair of the IARS Internal Research Committee. In addition, she serves as Chair of the International Committee of the Trauma Anesthesia Society, promoting global collaboration, research, and education in trauma anesthesia.
